The Black Band..!

       One day Nick and Jane met in a garden. They were best friends and were studying in the same school and in the same class. 

       When they were playing in the garden, Jane saw a black band tied on the wrist of Nick. He asked him the reason for wearing that band. Nick replied, ′My mother tied it so that I should not forget to send an important letter′.

      At this Jane asked, ′But where is the letter?′. Nick searched for it everywhere. Then he remembered that his mother had forgotten to give him the letter. When Jane came to know about this, both laughed a lot.

Moral : Oblivion is common to everyone.

      ஒரு நாள் நிக்கும் ஜேனும் தோட்டத்தில் சந்தித்தனர். அவர்கள் இருவரும் நெருங்கிய நண்பர்கள், அவர்கள் ஒரே பள்ளியில் ஒரே வகுப்பில் படித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

     அவர்கள் இருவரும் தோட்டத்தில் விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது, நிக்கின் மணிக்கட்டில் ஒரு கருப்பு பட்டை இருப்பதை கவனித்த ஜேன் நிக்கிடம், அந்த பட்டையை அணிந்ததற்கான காரணத்தை கேட்டான். நிக் உடனே 'நான் முக்கியமான கடிதத்தை அனுப்ப மறந்து விடக் கூடாது என்பதற்காக என் தாயார் அதை எனக்கு கட்டிவிட்டார்" என்று கூறினான்.

     ஜேன் உடனே 'எங்கே அந்த கடிதம்?" என்று கேட்க, நிக் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் அந்த கடிதத்தை தேடினான். அதற்கு பிறகுதான் தாயார் அந்த கடிதத்தை கொடுக்க மறந்துவிட்டார் என்பது நிக்கின் நினைவிற்கு வந்தது. இதைப் பற்றி அறிந்தபோது, ஜேனும் நிக்கியும் சிரித்துக் கொண்டனர்.
