Cheaters Never Prosper..!
Gokul and Nanda went to the city in search of a job. Fortunately, they got good jobs and earned a lot of money. They decided to return to their village. Gokul plotted to steal his friend′s money.
As they neared their village, Gokul told Nanda, ′It is not safe to carry so much money. We will be robbed by thieves. So let us hide the money safely somewhere and take it later′. Nanda trusted his friend and immediately agreed. They hide the money under a tree and went home. A few days later Gokul returned, dug out all the money and quietly took it home.
One day Nanda went to Gokul′s house and told him that he wanted some money. When they dug the pit they found the money had gone. Each accused the other of fraud and finally, the matter was taken to court. The judges decided to visit the tree since it was the only witness.
Meanwhile, Gokul requested his father to sit in the hollow of the tree and asked him to pretend like the voice of the tree. When the judges came and requested the tree to name the thief, the tree named Nanda as the culprit. But Nanda suspected. So he took some sticks and set the fire at the bottom of the tree. As the fire spread it, Gokul′s father jumped out of the tree. Judges punished Gokul. Finally, Nanda got all his money from Gokul.
கோகுல் மற்றும் நந்தாவும் வேலை தேடி நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றார்கள். அதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக, அவர்களுக்கு நல்ல வேலை கிடைத்தது மற்றும் அவர்கள் நிறைய பணம் சம்பாதித்தார்கள். அவர்கள் இருவரும் தங்கள் கிராமத்திற்கு திரும்ப முடிவு செய்தனர். கோகுல் நந்தாவின் பணத்தை திருட திட்டமிட்டான்.
அவர்கள் கிராமத்தை நெருங்கிய போது, கோகுல் நந்தாவிடம், 'இவ்வளவு பணத்தை எடுத்துச் செல்வது பாதுகாப்பானது அல்ல. நாம் திருடர்களால் கொள்ளையடிக்கப்படுவோம்.
எனவே பணத்தை எங்கேயாவது பத்திரமாக மறைத்துவிட்டு பின்னர் அதை எடுத்து கொள்வோம்" என்று கூறினார். நந்தா தனது நண்பனை நம்பி, உடனடியாக ஒப்புக்கொண்டார். அவர்கள் ஒரு மரத்தின் கீழ் பணத்தை மறைத்துவிட்டு வீட்டிற்கு சென்றார்கள். சில நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு கோகுல் திரும்பி வந்து, எல்லா பணத்தையும் தோண்டியெடுத்து கொண்டு, அமைதியாக அதை வீட்டிற்கு எடுத்துச் சென்று விட்டான்.
ஒரு நாள் நந்தா கோகுலின் வீட்டிற்குச் சென்று, சிறிது பணம் அவனுக்கு வேண்டும் என்றான். அவர்கள் குழியை தோண்டியபோது அங்கே பணம் இல்லை என்பது தெரிய வந்தது. அவர்கள் இருவரும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் மோசடி செய்ததாக குற்றம் சாட்டினர், இறுதியாக அந்த வழக்கை நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு கொண்டு சென்றனர். அந்த மரம் தான் ஒரே சாட்சி என்பதால், அந்த மரத்தை பார்க்க நீதிபதிகள் முடிவு செய்தனர்.
இதற்கிடையில், கோகுல் மரத்தின் பொந்துக்குள் அவனுடைய தந்தையை அமரச் சொல்லி, மரத்தின் குரல் போல நடிக்கும்படி அவரைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டான். நீதிபதிகள் வந்து மரத்திடம் திருடனின் பெயரை கேட்ட போது, மரம் நந்தா குற்றவாளி என்று கூறியது. அதனால் நந்தா சந்தேகிக்கப்பட்டார். அதனால் அவர் சில குச்சிகளை எடுத்து, மரத்தின் அடிப்பகுதியில் அவற்றை தீ வைத்தான். தீ பரவியதால் கோகுலின் தந்தை மரத்திலிருந்து வெளியே குதித்துவிட்டார். நீதிபதிகள் கோகுலை தண்டித்தனர். இறுதியாக நந்தா தன்னுடைய எல்லா பணத்தையும் கோகுலிடம் இருந்து பெற்றுக் கொண்டான்.
