Anil and Sunil..!

   There were two friends named Anil and Sunil in a village. They were traveling by train from their village to the city. They both planned to buy a wristwatch for them. 

   A young man heard their conversation and showed them some watches and said that it was brought from abroad and that they were made of pure gold. 

   Anil liked the watch so much and he immediately agreed to buy. Sunil warned Anil many times not to purchase those watch.

   Anil didn′t pay attention to Sunil′s objections and brought the watch by paying more amount. A few days later, the watch pin has stopped, when Anil took it to a watch repairer, he was told that the watch was not made of gold and that he had been cheated. Anil felt ashamed of his foolish act of taking a hasty decision and not listening to his friend. 

Moral : All that Glitters is not Gold.

    ஒரு கிராமத்தில் அனில், சுனில் என்ற இரண்டு நண்பர்கள் இருந்தனர். கிராமத்திலிருந்து நகரத்திற்கு அவர்கள் ரயில் வண்டி மூலம் பயணித்தனர். அவர்கள் இருவரும் தங்களுக்கு ஓர் கைக் கடிகாரத்தை வாங்க திட்டமிட்டனர்.

     ஓர் இளைஞன் இவர்கள் இருவரும் பேசிக் கொண்டிருப்பதைப் பார்த்து, சில கடிகாரங்களை காண்பித்து அவை வெளிநாட்டிலிருந்து கொண்டுவரப்பட்டவை என்றும், கடிகாரங்கள் தங்கத்தினால் ஆனது என்றும் கூறினார்.

    அனிலுக்கு அந்தக் கடிகாரம் மிகவும் பிடித்து விட்டது, அதை உடனடியாக வாங்க ஒப்புக்கொண்டான். அந்த கடிகாரத்தை வாங்க வேண்டாம் என சுனில் அனிலிடம் பல தடவை எச்சரித்தான்.

    சுனிலின் மறுப்புறைக்கு அனில் கவனம் செலுத்தாமல் அனில் அந்த கடிகாரத்தை அதிக விலை கொடுத்து வாங்கினான். சில நாட்களுக்குப் பின்னர் அந்த கடிகாரத்தின் முள் நின்று விட்டது, அனில் அந்த கடிகாரத்தை பழுது பார்ப்பவரிடம் எடுத்துச் சென்ற போது அந்த கடிகாரம் தங்கத்தினால் தயாரிக்கப்படவில்லை என்றும் அவர் ஏமாற்றப்பட்டார் என்றும் பழுது பார்ப்பவர் கூறினார். 

   அவனுடைய முட்டாள்தனமான செயலால் அவசர முடிவை எடுத்ததை நினைத்தும், அவருடைய நண்பனின் பேச்சை கேட்காதது நினைத்தும் மிகவும் வெட்கப்பட்டார் அனில்.
