One day two friends saw a man who was limping. One of them said that the man must have born lame. The other said that he must have met with an accident. They both started arguing.
The argument got so heated up, finally they went to the man and asked him the reason for his limping.
The man laughed and replied that he was limping as one of his slippers was torn. Both the friends walked away with an embarrassed face.
ஒரு நாள் ஒரு மனிதர் நொண்டிக் கொண்டு நடப்பதை இரு நண்பர்கள் பார்த்தார்கள். அவர்களுள் ஒருவர், அந்த மனிதர் நொண்டியாக பிறந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்றார். மற்றொருவர் அவர் ஒரு விபத்தில் சிக்கியிருக்கக் கூடும் என்றார். அவர்கள் இருவருமே விவாதிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர்.
விவாதம் மிகவும் சூடாகியது, இறுதியில் அவர்கள் இருவருமே அந்த மனிதனிடம் சென்று நொண்டியிடுவதற்கான காரணத்தை கேட்டனர்.
அந்த மனிதன் சிரித்துக் கொண்டே, என்னுடைய செருப்பில் ஒன்று கிழிந்து விட்டதால் நான் நொண்டிக் கொண்டு நடக்கிறேன் என்று பதிலளித்தார். இரு நண்பர்களும் சங்கடமான முகத்துடன் நடந்து சென்றனர்.
