The Stranger in the Garden

      A man who had a big garden. One day, while picking the fruits with his son, the man saw a stranger sitting on the branch of a tree and picking fruits. The man became angry and shouted, "Hey! What are you doing on my tree? Aren′t you ashamed of stealing?."

     The stranger on the tree answered, "Why should I come down? This is the garden of God and I am the servant of God, so I have the right to pick these fruits. You should not interfere with the work of God and his servant."

     The man was very surprised at this answer and thought of a plan. He told the stranger to come down from the tree. As the stranger came down the tree, the man tied him to the tree and began beating him with a stick. The stranger began to scream, "Why are you beating me? You have no right to do this."

     But, the man paid no attention for the stranger and continued beating him. The stranger said, "Don′t beat me, I am sorry for taking the fruits. This is your garden and I should seek your permission before taking the fruits. So, please forgive me and set me free." The man smiled and said, "Don′t use God′s name to justify your ill-conceived actions." Then the man untied him and let him go free.

Moral of the story : Don′t find the reason to escape from your mistakes.
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹      ஒருவரிடம் ஒரு பெரிய தோட்டம் இருந்தது. ஒரு நாள், அவர் தனது மகனுடன் பழங்களை பறிக்கும்போது, ஒரு அந்நியன் மரத்தின் கிளையில் அமர்ந்து பழங்களை பறிப்பதைக் கண்டார். அந்த மனிதன் கோபமடைந்து, 'ஏய்! என் மரத்தில் நீ என்ன செய்கிறாய்? திருடுவதற்கு வெட்கமாக இல்லையா?" என்று கத்தினார்.

     மரத்தில் இருந்த அந்நியன், 'நான் ஏன் கீழே வர வேண்டும்? இது கடவுளின் தோட்டம், நான் கடவுளின் சேவகன், எனவே இந்த பழங்களை பறிக்க எனக்கு உரிமை உண்டு. கடவுள் மற்றும் அவருடைய சேவகனின் வேலையில் நீ தலையிடக்கூடாது" என்று பதிளலித்தான்.

    இந்த பதிலைக் கண்டு அந்த மனிதன் மிகவும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு ஒரு திட்டத்தை தீட்டினார். அவர் அந்நியரை மரத்திலிருந்து கீழே வரச் சொன்னார். அந்நியன் மரத்திலிருந்து கீழே வந்ததும், அந்த மனிதன் அவனை மரத்தில் கட்டி, ஒரு குச்சியால் அடிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார். அந்நியன், 'நீ ஏன் என்னை அடிக்கிறாய்? இதைச் செய்ய உனக்கு உரிமை இல்லை" என்று கத்த ஆரம்பித்தான்.

     ஆனால் அந்த மனிதன் அந்நியன் கத்துவதில் கவனம் செலுத்தவில்லை, தொடர்ந்து அவனை அடித்தார். அந்நியன், 'என்னை அடிக்காதே, பழங்களை எடுத்ததற்காக வருந்துகிறேன். இது உன் தோட்டம், பழங்களை எடுத்துக்கொள்வதற்கு முன்பு நான் உன்னிடம் அனுமதியைப் பெற வேண்டும். எனவே, தயவுசெய்து என்னை மன்னித்து என்னை விடுவிக்கவும்" என்றான். அந்த மனிதன் புன்னகைத்து, 'உன் தவறான எண்ணங்களை நியாயப்படுத்த கடவுளின் பெயரைப் பயன்படுத்தாதே" என்று கூறினார். பின்னர் அந்த மனிதன் அவனை அவிழ்த்து விடுவித்தான்.

கதையின் கருத்து : உங்கள் தவறுகளிலிருந்து தப்பிப்பதற்கான காரணத்தைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க வேண்டாம்.
